AMD has taken enough time before stepping inside the ring of tablet PCs, but now it’s busy preparing for a grand entry. Do you remember MSI WindPad 110W, one of the few lucky tablets with AMD x86 processor that appeared in CES 2011? MSI WindPad 110W is back again in CES 2012, but this time with the latest Android 4.0 test build prepared for x86 processor.
The 10-inch WindPad 110W tablet has an IPS screen with an excellent resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. It is also powered by 1GHz AMD Z-01 APU and Radeon HD 6250 graphics plus 2GB of RAM.

But AMD also revealed that MSI WindPad 110W tablet got to serve the Ice Cream Sandwich delicacy thanks to the effort of the Android-x86 project, which has released a test Android 4.0 ISO for AMD Brazos-based tablets recently.
The guys at The Verge got a chance to play with the device and didn’t find it that bad except for a few glitches.
