Changing the appearance of your tablet home screen is for a lot of people, a regular occurrence. The Big Photo Frame widget provides a great way of personalizing your device in this way.
You can install the widget from Android Market or AppBrain for free. If you don’t know how to install a widget, go through our guide.
The Big Photo Frame widget comes in four sizes. Decide on the size of the widget according to how much room you want your image to take up on your screen.
A window pops-up asking you where it has to go to get the image. Click where you have saved all your images.
Now it opens your collection of photos. Select the image that you want to use to make your home screen more special.
You can crop the image if need be and then click Save.
That’s all there is to it. Your home screen will now show the image inside a “photo frame” that is the size you selected at the first step.
This isn’t a fancy photo editing app or widget, just a clean and simple way to have a favorite photo neatly take up some, but not all, of your home screen space.
