The System Info widget does exactly what the title suggests, it gives you all the inside information about your Android device.
It’s a bit difficult to figure out how much battery and memory are left on an Android device. You have to go to device settings to check the battery and memory status. System Info is system monitoring widget that makes it easier to find out how much battery life you have left, and the status of your internal memory, and SD card storage.
Download it from Android Market for USD 0.99 and install it like any other widget from the home screen. Here is our tutorial on how to set up a widget. System Info Widget is available with a horizontal or vertical display of icons. There are even a few themes to choose from to change the look of the widget.
System Info widget simplifies the process of system monitoring; it adds a widget on the home screen with four icons to display the battery status, RAM, ROM and SD card. You can see it on the left of the home screen in the above screenshot, or along the top with a white background in the screenshot below.
But, there’s much more to this widget. If you think that Wi-Fi, 3G, or Bluetooth is eating up the juice on your device, tap the battery icon to go directly to settings and disable the applications.
Similarly, if you’ve downloaded a lot of applications, resulting in a shortage of internal memory, you can tap the memory icon to go directly to manage applications and uninstall a few applications.
