JuiceDefender has location-aware WiFi control so that you can set it up to enable/disable WiFi when you are at home/work.
Some third-party apps also cause battery woes. So if you have a lot of apps installed on your device you can set connectivity control for specific apps using JuiceDefender.
JuiceDefender lets you schedule battery saving based on time, apps and location. When your Android device is not in use the JuiceDefender control will switch off battery draining features. Just what is switched off is under your control in its settings. It also disables Wi-Fi whenever your battery levels fall below 15%.
The interface of JuiceDefender is frankly not the prettiest I’ve seen, but the options are good and it does indeed ‘defend your battery’.
