On Android devices when an application becomes unstable, Android initiates ‘force close loop’ and it goes on and on until it kills the application process successfully. On some occasions, even rebooting your device fails to solve the issue. If you get stuck in such a situation, make use of Android’s ‘Safe Mode’.
Your first step would be to turn off your device. If the force close loop doesn’t allow you to switch off your device then just remove the battery.
Put the battery back, hold the hardware Menu button and switch on your device. (Remember not to release the hold button until your Android device has fully started).
You’ll notice that your device will have started in ‘Safe Mode’. You should see ‘Safe Mode’ in the lower-left corner of your screen.
When an Android device starts in Safe Mode, it doesn’t allow any of the third party applications to load. Go to Settings > Applications > Manage applications and uninstall the app that is causing the problem.
