If you’re using an Android tablet and you want to save an image from a website, the process is very similar to using a desktop, although there are extra built in options.
Hold your fingertip or stylus on the image until a pop-up window opens listing options to save, view and share. Tap View to open the image in a new tab.
Select Save, rename the image and click Ok to save the image onto your SD card. This will open a download status window that will track the download status as it’s downloading.
Once the image download is complete, tap the image download notification inthe notification message to open and view the image. Alternatively you can also view the image from the download history of your browser, or in the picture gallery. 
Click on Share to share the image on Facebook, Delicious or Twitter, or send to friends via email.
