The notification bar of Android devices has the time displayed but not the date. To see the date you usually have to open the Calendar … unless you do this.
The Notification bar shows the time, battery life, and other shortcut buttons.
If you hold on a blank area on the notification bar the icons on the left side of notification bar disappear and the current date is displayed.
There you have it!
