Tune up the accuracy with location based apps (Android)

Since tablet PCs are mainly web-centric devices, applications often work more effectively when they know our exact physical location. For example, if an application helps you find the nearest ATM or coffee bar, its performance can be boosted by enabling location settings on your Android based tablet. Once enabled, your tablet will use GPS and wireless networks to refine location based results.

From the menu list, tap the Settings icon.

Tap on Security & location.

Tap to enable Use wireless networks.

Tap to enable Use GPS satellites.

Tap to enable Share with Google.

Having these options enabled will help location based application like Google maps to deliver more specific results, but when these options are enabled it draws more battery power, so I’d recommend you to uncheck them when you don’t need them.
