How to set up the date and time on your tablet (Android)

There are occasions when you want to reset or update the date and time settings on your tablet. Like any other operating system, Google Android offers great flexibility in terms of customizing the date and time.

From the menu list, tap the Settings icon.

Tap Date and Time.

Uncheck the Automatic check box.

Note: If the Automatic check box is checked, your tablet will automatically use the network-provided time zone, date and time.

Tap Set date.

Use the + or – buttons to adjust the date, month and year. .

Tap the Set button to save it.

Tap Select time zone and select a time zone from the list.

Tap Set time to set a new time. Use the + or – buttons to adjust the hour and minute. Tap the AM to change to PM and vice versa. Tap the Set button to save the time.

Check/uncheck the Use 24-hour format check box to toggle between 12-hour and 24-hour format.

Tap Select date format to select a new date format.
