Wordfeud has taken scrabble off the board and thrown it to the cloud at a huge community of online players. There is a free version crammed with ads and a USD 1.53 version without ads. Both are available for download on Android Market.
Wordfeud is a crossword style multiplayer online scrabble where you can choose to play against friends or random opponents online. Enter a username to get started after installation and pick an opponent from the Wordfeud community, or invite friends from your contacts.
You can choose the different languages and different types of scrabble boards.
At the start of a game you are presented with aboard that is set up for play and some letters for you to use. Opponents play in turns, with 48 hours to make a move. You can play in up to 30 games simultaneously. A notification is sent when it’s your turn.
Drag the words from tile to the board to create words. The aim is to spell words with the highest points and score more by using double letter, double word, triple letter and triple word squares.
There is even a chat option to tease your opponents. This is quite a fun way to scrabble.
