Bejeweled is a well-known and extremely popular gem puzzle game. This is the Shanzhai version of it called Jewels, and it’s free!
In Jewels you get three puzzle games where the goal is to get three or more jewels in a row that are the same shape and color. You tap gems to switch their places. Once there are three or more in a row they disappear and you earn points.
There are three modes—normal, timed and infinite. In normal mode, you play until you are out of moves; the bonus bar increases with points earned and promotes the player to higher levels.
In timed mode, you are racing against the clock to finish the game before the timer goes off. Each jewel match adds a little extra time on your timer.
The infinite mode works as the name suggests, and instead of ending a game when there are no moves left, it resets the board and you continue playing.
The game controls are responsive, the graphics are simple but they change with each new level. It’s an excellent addictive time killer and is probably one of the best gem-swapping games on the Android Market.
