If you think your photos need something extra to make them more interesting, applying a photo effect is the easiest way to jazz them up.
The Photo Effects Android app is a free, fun and simple way to experiment and lets you apply a bunch of fun, cool effects to your photos. The app has around 40 effects in four categories: Color, Transform, Blur and Decoration.

Next, select the type of effect in ‘Select Effect Category’.
Under ‘Color’ there are many effects to choose from like auto contrast, color balance, contrast & brightness, color rotate, lomo, sepia, etc.
The ‘Transform’ has effects section has options which will manipulate the image more, like mirror vertically, fisheye, mirror horizontally, pinch, flip vertically, etc.
The ‘Blur’ options are exactly as you’d expect: soft blurs, harsh blurs, etc, called orton, zoom, blur circle, etc.
The ‘Decoration’ options are probably my favorite and in my opinion the most useful since they don’t distort your photo but rather present it nicely. Most of these effects are for borders, like a square, landscape, vignette, white vignette, round corner, dropshadow, border, etc.
You can save your photos to your device’s gallery and share it via Bluetooth and email.
Open ‘History’ to see all your saved images.
In Preferences you can change the default Image Settings (such as the resolution and quality) Sharing Settings (what an email title and signature you send with an image via email) and App Settings.
In Image Settings you can change the default Image Size and JPEG Quality.
This app is nice and simple to use and the effects it applies look good and make a nice way to frame or highlight your favorite photos.
