You don’t have to get your head around a fully-fledged graphics editing program just to add an effect or filter to a photo when there are so many simple but great photo apps on the Android Market.
The Photo illusion Android app provides a fun and simple way to experiment with photo effects and filters. There’s nothing to it really: open the app, select an image from your gallery and then select an Illusion (filter/effect). Done! You can save your experiments on the SD card.
The Photo illusion app is free on the Android Market. The app does have an OS requirement of Android 2.1 or above.
This app doesn’t have the largest choice of effects and filters but what it does have is applied really fast.
Select a Filter and/or Effect and click ‘ok’.
In the Settings you can set it up so that the app will remember the last filter and effect you have applied. By default ASCII art images it creates are saved as jpg and html files.
Click the ‘floppy disk’ icon to save your creations to a SD card.
Fun, free, good quality, fast, and your creations can be used on your Android device, or elsewhere.
