Android app of the day: Know your USA geography

Can you name all 50 US states and capitals? For anyone who didn’t do their primary education in the USA, probably not. For students in the USA it’s part of their education, so let them learn with some fun. The USA Capitals app can test your knowledge of the states and capitals of US.The app has three modes to test your knowledge: Study, Practice and Challenge.

The USA Capitals app is free on the Android Market. The app does have an OS requirement of Android 1.5 or above.

The ‘Study’ mode shows a book which lists a state and its capital; click on it to be shown another one. 





The ‘Practice’ mode will give you a question along with three answers. When you click an answer the app will show you whether the answer is correct or not. 





In the ‘Challenge’ mode you select the time to give yourself either 30, 60 or 90 seconds to answer as many of the 50 states and capitals questions as you can.

This simple but fun app is handy for students who have a quiz coming up in class about US geography.
