On your Android device there are a collection of things that you probably often keep track of like the memory, volume, battery, SD card, etc. You might already have a crowd of apps and widgets installed to help you with this. The Mini Info app and accompanying widget will probably replace most of them.
The app will display the details of your battery, Disk Space, SD card, CPU/RAM. The Mini Info app also provides you a toggle bar with 11 toggles: Wifi, GPS, Bluetooth, Volume, Brightness, Airplane mode, Screen timeout, APN, Unlock pattern, Auto Rotation and Auto Sync.
You can download the app either from Android Market or AppBrain. The Mini Info app has two versions, free and Pro. The Pro version offers a customizable toggle bar and widgets and the USD 1.99 is worth the cost. To run the app you need to have at least Android 1.5 or up.
As I’ve mentioned, this app shows you a lot of information, but if you don’t want to have it all displayed you can just uncheck them from the ‘Displayed Info’ list.
Under ‘Battery info’ you can select what type of information you want to see about your battery, such as how much is used/available/temperature, etc.
For easy access, the Mini Info app also has a widget. Install the widget as per our guide.
You can set the background, text color and of the widget.
The Mini Info widget displays maximum of three functions, drawing information from the app.
On a final note, the Mini Info app has a nice Auto Kill feature. If you select this option in the settings then Mini Info app will stop running completely on exit. I think all Android apps should have this feature.
