If you’re going on a trip that you think is news-worthy, instead of plain old blogging about it you might like to consider the Android app, OnTheRoad. This online travel diary offers a lot of options to easily publish your travel details.

Sign up for an account on the OnTheRoad website and your travel diary will be created with a personalized address like http://yourname.ontheroad.to. Write a short piece about your trip and decorate it with some choice photos or videos.

The OnTheRoad app is well suited for use with an Android tablet or an Android phone. Whatever you put on your travel log can be sent off to your unsuspecting followers via email, SMS or MMS. 

It can also work in offline mode so that no matter what remote destination you travel to, you can jot down your every thought as you have them and then publish it all once you get in range of a Wi-Fi hotspot.
