I decided to get rid of the boring old default browser on my Android tablet and install a fully loaded app instead. Being a social buff I chose Skyfire because it gives you instant access to share things via all the usual social networking avenues. It also supports Flash and other advanced features.
Although the iPhone and iPad can’t, Skyfire can actually support Flash on Android so that you can play streaming Flash videos. But Flash is not the only reason I like Skyfire, it also supports multi window browsing, pinch to zoom feature (with Android 2.0+) and it loads full desktop pages with ease.

Skyfire is aptly named a social browser for mobile devices because of the Video, Explore and Share options in the SkyBar.

The Video option pops out a new window to play Flash videos while the Explore option allows you to search trending topics on a webpage.

Skyfire will try to find the most relevant topics on a webpage and the Explore option will then search the net for these topics to find related videos, trends, tweets and images.

The Share option on the Skybar is my favorite; it allows you to share anything on a webpage via email or via any social apps you have installed on your Android tablet.

If you’re not satisfied with the curtailed mobile version of a webpage, you can swap to the desktop version of website easily.
Unlike some other mobile browsing options, Skyfire also supports bookmarks, downloads, copy and paste, and searching the webpage features. I’m telling you—don’t keep putting up with the default Android browser—there are better options out there and Skyfire is one of them.
