Smart Taskbar gives you instant access to all your apps, widgets and system settings without even switching from the application you’ve got running.

Download it from the Android Market for free and it will place a semi-circle trigger icon on the right side of the screen. Tap this icon to launch Smart Taskbar and it will display all the apps installed on your Android device. You can then organize the apps in different categories. You can also add tasks, labels and widgets using Smart Taskbar, to keep the home screen of your Android device clean.

It has excellent customization options to give you quick access to not just apps but also system settings, such as turning on/off Wi-Fi, 3G, and Bluetooth, etc.

Smart Taskbar also gives you a quick way to launch any apps that you use frequently by placing them on the Quick Launch bar. It offers true multitasking as you can launch any of your apps even while accessing the camera or sending email.

Smart Taskbar even has a feature that calibrates your touchscreen.

I am very impressed with Smart Taskbar. Having looked at a lot of these apps now, I’ve gotta say that it offers the quickest way to access and switch between multiple applications, while keeping your home screen clean at the same time.
