The Desktop VisualizeR is free on the Android Marketand it needs Android version 1.5 or above.
The way the app works is so simple. Tap ‘Select Icon’ to select an icon from an image file found under Icon Pack, Add-ons, or Application Icon.
Next, set up what the image will launch. Tap ‘Select Action’ and go through your app list, bookmarks, call list, etc, and select which one you want. You can add a label if you want to appear on the bottom of the widget. Tap ‘OK’ once you finish.
The widget will show on your home screen. When you tap on it will go to the page or app you set up.
Go to menu to change ‘Settings’. You can change the touch effect, default vibration and text color of the widget.
The Desktop VisualizeR is also an easy way to make your own widgets. Find the widget size you want to create from the 11 different widgets it provides. The red box over the widget icon shows the size of the widget it will create on your home screen.
