To have a backup of your mobile device’s data and apps is always a good idea. Android devices can completely synchronize and provide a backup for all your content by way of a good App backup tool.
The App Backup & Restore app can backup a single app or all the apps installed on your device.
The App Backup & Restore app is free on the Android Market and it needs Android version 1.6 or above.

Once you’ve installed the app, simply select all the apps you want backed up. All your backups will be stored as ‘Archived’. By default, the archives are created in the sdcard/App_Backup_Restore directory, which can be changed in ‘Settings’.
Go to the ‘Menu’ to see the other functions you can do with the app.

You can sort out apps by name, size or date in ascending or descending order.
If you want to uninstall an app, select the app and tap ‘Uninstall’ from the Menu.

There isn’t much you can customize in this app. Still, the best feature, which makes it stands out in the Market, is that the app can automatically backup new apps without you having to add them to the backup list. Any app you install will automatically be backed up (unless you modify this feature in Settings> Auto Backup).

To restore any app, open the App Backup & Restore app and go to ‘Archived’, select the app or apps you want to get back and then tap ‘Restore Selected Apps’. Currently, the app makes a copy of only the apk file, not the data, so if you have already uninstalled an app, you have to install it again.
For copy protected apps, the app saves the Android Market link as the apk file can’t be copied to an SD card.
The App Backup & Restore isn’t a big deal but it can provide one of the basic functionalities every phone should have.
