The Simple Lock app is free on the Android Market and requires Android 2.1 or up
You can choose the color of the text; the app offers a choice of five colors.
If you want to add a picture to the locked screen, you can choose from a collection of 8 pictures that the app has built in, but the pictures are too small, and not very clear. The screen looks better without the picture and just the text.
To unlock the screen, you just need to slide the arrow next to ‘unlock’, and you can go to your home screen.
This app is cool, although it offers very few choices in the way of personalization, it’s a nice change to the lock screen.
