If you are looking for an app that helps you to find apps on your Android phone or tablet in an easy way instead of searching for it yourself, Gesture Search is the perfect app.
Gesture Search is free on the Android Market and requires Android 1.6 or up.
To search for an app or folder on your device, just write a letter from its name on the blank screen in the Gesture Search app, and it will list all the apps and folders which correspond to that particular letter.
You can set the app up to search for particular results, according to your needs, like search only in Contacts or Phone settings, or Apps, etc.
You can also set up the writing speed.
This app also can be set up to get activated when you double flip your phone. For example, if you are searching for a name in your contacts, and you want to activate the
Gesture Search app, you can just double flip your phone, and the app will start up. Sadly, this feature didn’t seem to work on my phone!
This app is easy to use, and it is fun to use gestures to get to where you want on your Android device.
