Every Android device needs a quick, simple tool for playing music and videos. You might be familiar with RealPlayer, a free application for PC that was quite popular a few years ago. Although the Android app doesn’t offer you a sweeping array of features, it’s good for something!
The RealPlayer app comes with a clean interface and three main features displayed in the Menu as: Music, Videos and Photos.
The RealPlayer Android app is free on the
Android Market and it needs Android version 1.6 or above.

From the home page of the app click ‘Music’ and you will see a list of songs that you have on your device. Click on any to start playing.

You can look for songs by Artists, Albums, Genres, Ratings, Most Played or Recently Added.

Back to the home page and if you tap on ‘Videos’ you get a simple list of what videos you have on your device. There is not categorization and no search options, and you can only watch the videos, there are no other features.

The app also incorporates a slide show of the pictures in your device’s gallery. Click ‘Photos’ on the home screen to get this.

When you go to picture Settings you can change the interval and transition of the slideshow. You can also decide in what way your pictures get sorted.
The RealPlayer app doesn’t have any options to share your music or photos. This might be because it’s only the Beta version. As a no fuss media player though, it does the job.
