We have relationships with so many online services. Almost every day I will an invitation to join some service or site. Once you’ve gotten over using a network or site, finding out how to get rid of an account isn’t always that easy.

Not all websites and social networking sites are created in the same way when it comes to ‘breaking up’. For some websites, deleting your account is pretty simple. For some, just stopping using the website will lead to your account being deactivated due to inactivity. But the reality is that most sites don’t feel obliged to make it easy for you. The option to delete your account can even be hidden.

‘Delete your account’ is a free cloud service that provides instructions on how to close your account on numerous websites. The site has information about most all popular social media websites, shopping, blogging and e-commerce sites.



You can search for a website using Search option or you can check whether the site is listed. When you click on a site it will show you the details of how to delete your account on the selected site.



All you need to do is remember your login details of the website you want to delete.

This is a very handy website, and what surprises me is that there are no ads on it! There’s no information about who owns it and why it was created, but the information seems to be accurate and my browser virus protection wasn’t alerted to anything suspect. It’s like a public service site!
