One click to kill applications with Advanced Task Killer

It’s easy to click on the cross in the top right of apps to close them in Windows, but on Android, when you’ve got an app running in the background and you want to close it, it’s a little difficult. Here’s a quick tip to close applications with one click using Advanced Task Killer.

The Android OS can run multiple apps in the background, but doing this can eat up your battery and make the device run slow. Closing an application is an irksome process … you have to go to settings first, open manage applications, select the application and then close it. 


 
The convenient alternative is the Advanced Task Killer app which cuts down this long procedure into a single step. This saves battery life and improves the performance of your Android device. 


 
Launch the Advanced Killer app and it will create a list of all apps running in the background. Select the apps you would like to close, and tap on the option Kill Selected apps. You can kill multiple apps at once.
 
If you don’t want to close an application just ignore it and it will move it to the ignore list so that it won’t be killed by the Kill Selected apps option.

This process is much simpler than using Task Manager on Windows. So, if you find yourself using your Android device and you end up with battery drain or a sluggish response time, you might want to see if having quick access to close apps running in the background improves things for you.
